Telenet supports Voice Day 2005 – the trend-setting voice technology event

Munich, 16th September, 2005 – Following last year’s major success, Voice Day will now take place for the second time. From 20th until 21st October, 2005 the event will be hosted in Bonn’s former parliament building with a significantly enhanced programme. The conference is divided into a strategy and a practical applications day providing participants with a wide range of different opportunities for gaining deeper insights into automated voice services. Telenet GmbH Kommunikationssysteme is an official sponsor of this trend-setting voice technology event and will be presenting a range of products as well as giving technical lectures.

The first day features technical lectures held by renowned speakers to supplement the Best Practice Park exhibition. As a specialist for tailor-made voice self service solutions, Telenet will be presenting an example of an amusing voice application to launch the Telenet Prize Draw for visitors.
The first day is completed by the ceremony for the Best Voice Campaign Awards and the Voice Awards, which is followed by Voice Night, featuring a number of special events, an extensive international buffet, music and cocktails.
The second day of the congress focuses on the transfer of knowledge. It features contributions from international experts. In specialist forums, experts will explain the development and operation of voice applications. In Fachsession no. 13, Jörg Emonts, Telenet’s managing director, will take part in a discussion on Call Center solutions. In Fachsession no. 15, Dr. Florian Hilger, project manager at Telenet, will give a lecture on monitoring / testing of voice applications. In the afternoon, the official winner of the VOICE Contest 2005 will be selected from applications, which participants presented in the morning.
